You shouldn't still have the vortex stone.

Okay, explain more in depth as to why you can't get to Egther.

Well I entered the castle,defeated Fenrir,then went through a portal and a double gave me the vortex stone.I went through the portal,saw Fornsigtuna,got the bag next to the troll and went back into the portal.I arrived at the Holt.I planted the seed and left through the portal.Then I went back to the castle through the portal,and told my double,its dangerous and lets kick some jotunn.But if I do anything else,I am erased from existence.That's where I am.

Egther is in his throne room. All you have to do now is open that icy door.

That's because your shield can't counter magic. But you should still have something else in your inventory that can.

As a warrior, how do you get the bag away from the troll in the Fornsigtuna ruins? I tried using weapons on the troll, using the flimsy rock pile it was leaning on from behind, and even using honey/shovels/other stuff to grab the bag from a distance. Nothing.

Do you throw something to distract the troll? If so, what?

The rock pile is correct, but you have to click on a specific one.

Namely, the very top one.

Thanks, I just finished the Warrior playthrough. This was a fun game. If anyone else has trouble handing off the stone to their doppleganger when reentering Egther's castle, the hitbox is a little tricky. You want to aim with a white pixel at the center of the stone, not the tip.

Still a Warrior, I planted the tree and re-entered Egther's castle through the portal. Conversations with my doppelganger erase my existence, as per the posts above. I've tried handing her theand cease to exist. I've tried just clicking on the doorway behind her...poof, I'm nowhere. I'm not sure what avoraciopoctules means in the post above about handing off the stone (the vortex stone?) to the doppelganger, but nothing I've tried works. If I erase my existence any more, all that will be left is chalk dust! Help!

You need to make sure you're saying and doing the same things that your doppelganger was doing/saying to you earlier (prior to you first entering the portal).

Got it. What an incredible game! I finished with 474/500, and 74% Honor. Plenty of replay here, so it's time to become a sorceress now and get back to it!
