Heroine's Quest - Point List for Sorceress (500/500) (0)

Things are taking shape, we're getting there!

I will be updating this list as I find things out, but if you have any information (or suggestion on how to organize this list), please contribute.

Also, this list follows the order in which I did things. Some points may therefore be acquired earlier than listed.

I just completed my first run as the sorceress with 483 points. However, when I compare my points list to yours I am confused, because the only points that I have and you don't are what I would have assumed were mandatory. Here they are:

Bypass Skrymir's guard on Heime 5 (this comes immediately before the 5 points you get for triggering the mechanism to open the cage)
See Thrivaldi turned to stone 10 (this comes between the 3 points you get freeing yourself from the chains and the 10 points you get for defeating Fenrir)

I would be curious to hear your confirmation that you truly did complete the game without scoring the above points.

I did indeed complete the game without scoring those points, and I believe the main reason is that I picked Fast Talk at character creation.

I knew I had cheated myself out of some points because of a cross-class skill. >___< But still, that's only 15 additional points, which means the list is still missing 14 points, and I have no idea where those are. I've done pretty much everything that was to be done in the game (to my knowledge), except dealing with the swamp thing (and I'm not even sure the sorceress is supposed to do anything about it).
I have all the spells, all the recipes (again, to my knowledge; I could find three), I've helped and/or impressed all twelve citizens during the quest for the Eyes, I've even beaten the Dragon Bone challenge (albeit with a silver medal), and I finished the game as a Paragon with 91% Honor. What in blazes am I missing? :~(

Well, one interesting thing I noticed is that the warrior receives 5 points for

while the sorceress receives no points for overcoming the same obstacle. Perhaps both of us missed a "better" solution to this puzzle and thus lost 5 points?

I'm going to do a more thorough comparison of the Warrior and the Sorceress to see what else I can come up with.

I'm going to do a more thorough comparison of the Warrior and the Sorceress to see what else I can come up with.

I had noticed that too from your point list and had tried all I could think of. I just went back to that spot to experiment some more, and it turns out

I did not receive any points for the Dragon Bone challenge. None for entering it, none for beating it. Are those points awarded at the end of the game, perhaps? Because I did the challenge after I finished the game, I reloaded a save I made just before getting the second Eye.

×I bypassed him like you, by Blinking and attacking. I did find him in Svartalfheim, but since I couldn't do anything else with him, I just left him there. I gave the ring to Heime, so maybe you get the 3 points if you give it to Fremont instead?
EDIT: Just went to get the ring again and tried giving it to Fremont in Svartalfheim. No points.

Probably the 5 points are rewarded for first entering either Ice Wall room or Dragon Bone room. It sure is hard to track(and for developers, design) points for a multi-class game!

Too true.

I did indeed get 5 points for finding the Ice Wall, I'll try going to the Dragon Bone room first next time.

I got three points for nabbing the young fox with the Arctic Wind spell, and another 5 for getting it back to it's warren. (I only scimmed over the list, did you already have that?)

No, I did not! :thumbsup

I've been looking for a non violent solution for the fox fur and for the cub, but I absolutely hadn't though of doing that.

Something else I noticed; (might be a bug) You get 1 point for buying a scarf from the Wizard, or the Ice Pick from the Blacksmith, but you don't get any points for buying the amulet from Liff. Could that be out final point?

You get 3 points from giving the cursed Ring of Andvari to Heime (The ring is in Andvari's workshop next to the sliding puzzle)

Missing 3 point for looking through spyglass/telescope.

Looks like you require to have Fast Talk to do it, though.

The "scripted battle" should happen in the Evening. Can you confirm that you have been in the cemetery at that time?

Developers already confirmed that there was bug in earlier versions that caused new games to get 3 points at the start if the cursed ring had been done in a previous game.

The extra points you mention have already been reported in this thread. Thread-starter just didn't update the OP, and as far as I can tell he or she has not returned since January.

Yes, I even loaded a game where i had not dug up the mugwort, did so, waited for the Evening just outside the graveyard and went in at the moment is said Evening. I met the 3 Draugi and killed them (i've done that a lot) but that did not give me any points. not slaying them nor fooling them with Shadow... I get +2 for finding which grave has the Haugbui, but thats another pointset...
