Okay so, I'm trying to find the Alviss character mentioned in several other posts, seeing as how he's apparently involved in the riddles sidequest. I think I met all the NPCs in Svartalfheim and my last suspect is Does Alviss appear somewhere down the main questline and I should just follow that and wait for him to show up or do I need to do something to find him?

He's in Midgard. Have you explored all of it?
You'll need to finish a certain other quest to receive the means to restore him as a reward (think of who can have such an item).
And when you get to do that, don't forget that he's an elf.

Okay, I'm PRETTY sure I explored all of Midgard. The only places left are . Is he in one of those? I'd assumed that he's in Svartalfheim, since iirc

Well, if you ask them about Alviss then they'll explicitly tell you he's not there and how they miss him.

Alviss was turned to stone, right? And where can you find a certain weird stone structure in Midgard?
