Hello, Now you might of just read that title, and said to yourself, dose this guy have a full garage of weed in his home. Well I don't, and never well. But lets get on to the topic shall we, I suggest that there should be a sword or item, that stacks damage. E.G. A poison potion or a fire potion or something like that. And what it does is that every time you take a turn of dealing damage to a monster You well deal an extra amount of damage stacking up. E.G.

1st Attack 25 DMG + 1 Poison DMG
2nd Attack 25 DMG + 2 Posion DMG
3rd Attack 25 DMG + 3/4 Poison DMG
4th Attack 25 DMG + 4/8 Poison DMG
5th Attack 25 DMG + 5/16 Poison DMG

This might be effective against certain monsters.

I am aware that there is a way. But it would be nice if it was a default sword or item.

Possibly, but the numbers you propose are a rather specific set of properties. I don't think any pre-defined item would find too much usage. The focus is too narrow.
