If you just want to read classics, Project Gutenberg might be slightly more convenient (not to mention more extensive). And, while we're on the subject of free books, there's also the Baen Free Library. (Haven't used the latter myself yet though).

If we are really talking about classics, there's Perseus. That one came in *very* heady for my Greek courses.

Along the same lines, I'm quite fond of the MIT OpenCourseWare Initiative, though the amount of material varies greatly from one course to another. Still, that's vastly more comprehensive than what my own university does (and only for our own students, of course).

SuperGreenX is a very good electronica musician, and though he's putting up more of his older stuff on the new site the rest is here.

Any fans of Cave Story* might want to check out this page if they haven't already for getting the game music seperately and/or this page for a very neat remix project (which ended up with 22 tracks total and all the art they could need to make an actual CD).

*What do you mean, what is Cave Story? You mean to tell me you haven't heard of/tried it? Go here already!

This game is evil! It essentially has you doing two things at once. You have to both stop a bouncing ball with a paddle, Arkanoid-style, and balance a ball on a see-saw. The see-saw tilts when you move the paddle to the edges of the screen. And the ball keeps getting faster! My best so far is 35.7 seconds.

I quite liked that viral video that went around of a man miming to the tune of "Torn". It looks like the act was rejigged and reperformed (and re-recorded) for the benefit of Amnesty International. Well worth a watch (it is, however, explicit).

Absolutely brilliant! Made my 2006... Yeah, it's been a poor year but seeing any celebrity having the capability to mock themselves well... it's beautiful.

Yeah, well... we most probably won't be getting that ad here (not that we don't have our share of good and our barrage of bad, German-language ads over here), and if we would it would be dubbed, so it would be a lot worse anyway...

Then again, I hardly ever watch TV - so I have to watch most ads on YouTube...
