Neat.

Never played that one myself, but I played two clones of it:

Zillion (Sega Master System)

This was a rather blatant clone of IM where you had a gun to fight back with. There were a few hidden power-ups, and two extra "lives" you had to find (your teammates), though it's better obviously to save everyone's life by never dying. I seem to recall I was able to do that once. Anyway, it had amazing music for an 8-bit game, and was one of the last awesome games made for the SMS.

The Heist (Apple ][c)

This was a particularly brutal and unforgiving adventure. You needed perfect timing to jump gaps and robots. I'm not sure if it predates IM or not, but everything like IM reminds me of it. I don't think I quite beat it...I was pretty young at the time and need to go back for a second try now that I'm three times older. :D

I know I've heard that, but I can't put my finger on it.

Also, your WAV-files neither play in Firefox nor in Media Player Classic - I had to open them in Audacity to hear anything, which is odd... (Maybe it's the 32-bit float thing? Most regular WAV files I know use 16-bit integer...)
