If you get disconnected from CaravelNet and you then try to exit a level, GtEB becomes unresponsive and the only way to carry on is to kill its task.
When you reload GtEB later progress is lost.

This is under Windows Vista Basic GtEB version 4.0.2.112

It happened to me because my husband turned our router off without telling me.
