I dont get it. I manage to build a small wall, but not big enough, and I dont get the last tile into the right place.

yes i tried it, but i couldnt make them work.
also, i am getting really, really frustrated trying to arrange the mirrors.

The mirror at 1 should go to 2, the one at 3 should go to 4, and the one at 5 should go to 6. You don't even need the last one. Since you can't get around corners of the room and still have the goblin toward the center, the only way you can push the mirrors is in diagonally southern directions, which makes this configuration as shown.

As for getting to where you can push the mirrors in the first place, the movement that CuriousShyRabbit was describing before is shown here (1-8):Once you're at the side (such as point 9), you can run right up it with the goblin ahead of you and then come back to the baseline while pushing the mirror to where you want it. If the goblin continues to give you trouble, it's hardly any more hassle to use the fourth mirror as well.
