I must be missing something obvious in this room. Here's what I've discerened. I refer to the switches in the center as 1-9 (left to right), and the gates at the bottom as A-E (left to right).


I've triple checked the above and if there's an error in there somehow I am not seeing it. But, based on the above I don't see how to get through, because:


So either there is a flaw in my logic, or maybe I'm just trying to do the wrong thing in this room... but I don't see what else to try.
