This is the level design challenge for July. The idea behind this contest is as follows: Panels. Last month it was suggested to do an ST2 contest, so here it is. It involves ST2 portals, which work differently than ST1 teleporters; so of course your level must use these. In this template, you may replace square walls with logic gates (you know, those walls with a wire crossing and a symbol like >0 ). Just don't overdo it

You can download the levels here: http://crystalshard.net/test/July.zip

Please vote for the level you like best. Participants may vote (because turnout would be a lot lower otherwise also it's not like we can stop them or anything); however, I'd appreciate it if everybody did not simply vote for themselves :)

Thanks to everyone who participated!

My vote is to B.J. Earles. His entry is clean and elegant, yet tricky.

I liked the Golem Overlord. Crazy Confetti was a close second, though.

Just downloaded the levels. Will vote (hopefully) in a day or so.

As everyone (except maybe me...) used the portals well, I decided to place my vote based on the use of the flipper.

The two short-listed were BigWigs and the Mystics.
I actually found this a very tricky decision, but eventually I went for "Two ways in, No way out" becuase I loved the continuous flipping.

Great levels everyone!

Well done, everyone; you made my decision really tough. Since most levels (mine included) stayed mostly within the panels, I decided to go with the level that did a lot outside them. Therefore, my vote goes to "Deja Vu."

No, yours was rather good. However, you were right about it being "visually annoying"; it actually gave me a mild headache.

My first vote! Yay!

Continuous flipping is easy; the tricky part is finding a good interval. In general, though, I find that flipping makes for some interesting puzzles.

It is, but good levels don't always have to be neat & tidy.

Oops, there was supposed to be a deadline for that poll, but I forgot to put it in.

So I suppose we should call it a draw, and congrats to Bigwig, and Danjen, and Mystic.

Mine was definitely the least exiting/fun of the levels, but I didn't put much time into it, so I'm not that worried. :)

It still came out pretty good, though, despite being tough on the eyes. I had actually planned to do a bit more on my level, but ran out of time.
