Voting topic for the March contest. Sixteen entries were received, all (as far as I can see) valid according to the contest rules. If any of them have bugs or if there are any problems with the "Lobby" setup, please let me know!

Known bugs: "Grow: Roach Nest" enters an endless cut scene if an incorrect solution is attempted.

In "World's most difficult trick", moving at 6,6 end hold for me.

Is that intended? -_-

I'm asking because some level entrance connections could break during compiling the entries and because I don't know how to rate "World's most difficult trick" after that

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't realised that copying levels from one hold to another would break the level entrance connections. That's fixed now. Also, apologies to the architect, but the item multiplier of 99,999 (leading to the player having an ATK of 100,019) would have wrecked the hold's scoring system by making everything else insignificant in comparison to whether or not the player had completed this one level. I've changed it to 68, just enough to one-shot the rock golems.

Another thing(VERY IMPORTANT - SOME ENTRIES ARE BROKEN BECAUSE OF THAT) - copying level doesn't copy custom NPC's, so I've met some scripts like:

Wait while entity is NPC 3,12,3,12
Generate entity ?,3,12,South

Where the "?" should be some kind of custom NPC name, I think.

Because of that I couldn't solve "Tarstuff Trouble" and "Tomb of the Zombie King". Some other entries can be broken, too.

if anybody else sees any "Citizen1" guy in the hold which doesn't have any purpose(no matter visible or invisible) you should report it since it can be former custom NPC

I'm one of the guys who misunderstood that part :blush. The bad script is with the character at 0,1. My hold can be a little messy to work with, so just tell me if you need any help re-scripting in the custom characters.

Okay, we're back on the road :) Let me know if there are still any problems. In particular, I'd appreciate it if the authors of Tomb of the Zombie King, Tarstuff Trouble and Gaze of the Aumtlich could play through their own entries a.s.a.p. just to check that I haven't made any mistakes in importing the custom characters.

Heh. Just to let you know, there is an error in "Gaze of the Aumtlich", where Flufflings appear instead of "Roach 2" monsters on striking the orb (you can fix it by editing the character at (4,14)).

As far as I can see, Tarstuff Trouble appears to be functioning properly, but I'll let you know if I spot any errors there.

Edit: You also should add a script to the lobby that resets the accessory and command variables to 0 as well.

And one more small thing. You've not included the ending text for at least "Tarstuff Trouble" (but looking at the hold's construction, this is probably the case for all of the entries).

It's perhaps not a big deal, but it would be nice to see if people did put the effort in to round off their storylines with ending text.

Yeah... For Worlds Most Difficult Trick, you need to get the big 2x2 platform to release all the trapdoors to win. anyway, it shouldent be possible to go back after you go down. but the build option does not overwrite platforms for some reason.

Also, if you can't find the solution, and are really stuck on it, i guess search the name of the level on youtube, you'll find it quickly.

And, If you diden't know yet, this puzzle was in a Puzzle/RPG game. Thats why i thought it would fit. :facepalm:

And i'm not gonna rate them. I won't cheat by giving myselfa 10. O:-

Actually, isn't the consensus that all authors should vote their entries "10"?

From what I remember, I think it was decided to be the fairest way to allow entrants to vote. Since each entry will get a "10", the votes cancel themselves out.

That's right, everyone who submitted an entry should vote themselves 10 and vote honestly on everyone else's.

Who submitted the entry "Only", by the way? I just ask because I want everyone to get fair credit towards an 8-timer prize, and "Allion" is the only architect whose identity I don't know.

Could you tell us what's wrong? It could be a problem that's been introduced in transporting the level into the compilation, in which case it would be unfair for agaricus if we didn't manage to fix it.

Hmm... "Minesweeper" has set var ItemGRMult=1320 script in it, but the Lobby doesn't have script which would reset it to normal, so after playing Minesweeper in each other entry opening greckle gate costs 132 greckles(or more if item multiplier is more than 1) :?

Interesting. Does DROD it still crash if it is the first room you visit?

Also, are these crashes associated with anything you do, e.g. hitting the orb or fighting a particular monster?
