I'm not sure if this is really the right thing to post, but I've spent so long typing it that I may as well post it now.
I've done it again... I've posted a post that exactly fits on my screen in Preview mode... better stop.
If you don't know how to script an accessory/weapon/shield, then I can post another- No. Never mind. I am NOT going to post what you can learn yourself by pressing F1¹.
1: And reading for a long time, and reading a fair few threads- all right! You can't learn to script in a day. I didn't.
I should first probably explain that:
Cmd is short for Command.
Commands are in fact scripted pieces of equipment.
The .
Del
key on the numpad will also use the Cmd item.
Now, the actual making...:
Make the command item itself as a scripted custom monster/NPC. If you don't know how to do that, better learn -I mean ask people to teach you- how to do that.
Make another-
Before I finish, have you read the help? I'm SURE this is all in there...
-NPC, make it invisible with appearance none, and add the command:
Equipment>
Give>
Command.
Then go back to the room editor, and put the SECOND NPC in any room. When you enter THAT room, you will get the equipment. In this case, Command.
