×Manipulate things so that the mud baby is on the NE or SE corner (not due E... that won't work)... held there by one of the clones at sword point (standing to the W, facing E to prevent the mud baby from moving W) until the door closes. It's a bit tricky, but with two swords and an inactive clone body you have plenty of tools to work with. Also, remember about vertical preference.

Move the other one to the far end by switching back and forth to keep the mud baby on the door.

Get it out of the area by getting the blocker clone to step on the plate... while keeping the mud baby from moving W (ie turn the blocker's sword vertically). Then you'll need to maneuver back to the position where you're facing east and holding the mud baby on the corner... because, again, you need to keep the mud baby from stepping west before the door closes.

Once you've got one clone out, the mud baby stuck on the door on the corner and the other clone free to move down the path, things should be pretty obvious.

See how the clones have made a wall in the first diagram. When the SE clone is active in this position, the mud baby has to go horizontally, because its first choice (the diagaonal) is blocked by one clone's sword, and the second choice (vertical preference) is blocked by the other. And in the 4th diagram, you do it again... only this time you also use the inactive clone's body to remove even the horizontal move.

×To use a sword to block while you get the outer one into the target position of this exercise (the NW or SW corner off the plate)... and for holding the mud baby off while you rotate to the correct orientation.

×one beethro free and the other holding mud baby at other end but I cannot see how to move him down without the mud baby following. I have him SE of pressure plate with beethro on plate and sword facing South. other Beethro is SW of yellow door at left

After getting into the second situation, if you switch to northwestern clone every time it's the baby's turn to move, the baby will not move due to the yellow door.
