I'm pretty sure that the mimic would be blocked.
The big question here, which has been brought up before, is "
what would happen if the swords would collide?"
. Or, in DiMono's example, if Beethro was one square to the right, and the same thing happened, what would occur?
There are four good possibilities, and one that would alter the game significantly and be bad, but I'll put it anyway.
1-They overlap
2-They cannot overlap, so the anti-mimic is blocked.
3-The mimic will move, but its sword will stay in the same position. (Beethro moves first)
4-The anti-mimics sword is destroyed.
5-Beethro's sword is destroyed.
I tend to go for either 1 or 2, but who knows? Someone may like 5.
