Since my Hazardous Halls hold didn't get much response, I decided to play through it myself and noticed that it wasn't as fun playing it as I had hoped. I'll probably return to continue on it some time, but for now, I've started working on a new project, Beldin's Bunker.

I've tried a somewhat different approach this time, trying to go for more quality than quantity. I've only made six rooms so far, but they should at least offer a short challenge.

The first level is flawed; you can't jump left left down.

It's only during the first "move", after that you can move normally. I made it that way so that the bottom left square is the last one to be cleared, which forces the player to make a complete loop and not just a path through the squares.

Wow. For those who stick it out through the Knight's Tour, this is an awesome set of levels, especially the third.

This hold brings back memories of Fool's Errand. The third level's got a puzzle solution I've never seen before...

Yeah, I played through it this afternoon, really enjoyed it. Have to admit I used a website solution to the knights tour, of course. And I loved that idea too RoboBob, I haven't seen it before either. nice.

This is awesome. The levels are all inventive, creative, and tricky. I just beat the knight's tour (that was tricky), and now just started Level 2. I've got out of the entrance and 1E, but I can't figure out how to

This is a really cool hold - or at least the little that I've seen so far is - but I really think you need more checkpoints.

The knight's tour on level 1 could use one, even though there's no risk, since starting over if you make a mistake is frustrating.

The entrance to level 2 could use one - and you can get rid of the one you put there since it's totally pointless; it's two moves away from the entrance and you can't get there again. Similarly for 1E.

the knights tour took me close to 10 minutes to plan out
once I figured out what I was supposed to do
don't think a checkpoint would really help here
the time I screwed up with it all planned out I still would have needed to go back to far to be useful

I have level 2 figured out but just can't get back to the west side of the screen that last tarbaby from the back corner of the mother's box gets me every time because of the odd number spacing (3 squares) if it was 2 or 4 I would be through that room

Gah, and I thought I was going to have the first hold with a knight's tour. (Although mine has specific spaces to hit rather than an entire grid so it is easier, really.)

Time to hit the drawing board again, I guess. :?

Ok, now that I've completed this hold - I really liked it, except for the knight's tour which was well implemented but too difficult for a bottleneck. If you could have other rooms to go to when you get frustrated by it, or if it was not a required room, I'd feel better about it.

Personally, I downloaded a solution from the internet and just followed it.

Level 3 was really good but I'm wondering if 2E wouldn't be better with roaches instead of spiders - the hiddenness doesn't contribute much, the important part is figuring the movement.

don't get discouraged I succeeded in reaching the orb twice in over 50 tries

worst of all now that I got that room I have to restart the whole level a checkpoint should be added somewhere in one of these 2 rooms

I can't work out level 2. I have cleared both rooms but I can't exit. As I see it you have to clear the entrance then 1 east then go back to the entrance then back to 1 east in order to exit. But theres no way to clear the red door if you do that. I can't work out how to get to the stairs after both rooms are cleared.
