There're some holds(for example, 89-th Slayer) where character runs cutscene(so, player can't move), then moves to some location, ends cutscene and, for example, dissapears. But if place weapon or yourself to the point character is moving it will never get the square it must move and you will stuck(because can't move and cutscene will never end). I offer 'Move to' command to have ability to give a small radius of squares to move, not only one square. So, if character gets one of squares he will continue script. So, if player even placed himself and weapon on two of squares citizen moves there will be some other squares citizen can move.

What do you think?

I love this idea. Totally.

I guess the easiest way to implement this would be having the NPC run towards the center of the selected area and having him stop as soon as he gets into it...

np: Underworld - Ring Road (Oblivion With Bells)

Wouldn't need to even select an area.. The NPC could go towards the selected square, and stop when it gets blocked..
Actually, maybe it should time out after sitting 10 turns in one place, or something.. Which would let other things move out of the way if they were going to at all..

If I understand properly, that is exactly the present behaviour and what mxvladi would like to have changed.

No, it never times out, and therefore may never finish the cutscene.
