I remember doing this a while ago, and being very impressed with myself. Leaving without the 'Neather is fun, and I think this is the only room I've ever done it in.

LOL! I just love it when unintended stuff happens to our beloved mallet-happy fool!

Wait... do you realize that the 'Neather is technically the TRUE king?

That would mean that Beethro

Dugan must have payed him to stay silent...

Suddenly DROD seems highly political... not cool! Not cool!

I'm going to go find some way to lose this realization that Beethro commited regicide.

Technically, he forfeited his kingdom when he went into the dungeons and could not be found when his father died. If he came up, Dugan would probably have to hand the crown over.

When you're bleeding out, you can still function. Besides, I'd say trailing off to stuff like "eat your cereal with a fork" is him slowing down a little.

I'll play :devil 's advocate and suggest that perhaps he was hoodwinking Beethro into thinking he was dying so Beethro would leave him alone. Perhaps he was hoping he would respawn, since as we know if a monster is left in a room all the monsters come back. If he doesn't die before Beethro leaves the room, then he'll come back!

Game on,

So, he's still alive. Possibly in the same sense as Elvis.

We don't actually know for certain who or what expanded the dungeon, and the clever design of the levels suggests to me that there must have been an actual architect involved somewhere along the line.
My personal belief is that

Rogue Architects... now there's an idea.

Anyway, he had to have built it. We know this because the level seems focused around him. What kind of architect would build complex rooms WITH CONTROL PANELS and flood them with certain kinds of monsters if he or she didn't know that there was going to BE someone to operate said room?

Well, why not just have an impossible room?
Having an impossible room somewhere around level 12, in fact, would make the 'Neather's life much easier later on. It would only take a single wall in the right place...
And to address the question at hand: most of level 25 could have been built beforehand, with the 'Neather adding orbs and gates later on, although I don't know how he would have done it.

A tad exaggerated, especially that which is highlighted in bold.

Very exaggerated - we all know Erik wouldn't do such a thing. That's what I am here for. They don't call me the DROD Mafia for nothing. And if that doesn't work, I'll be making a visit with a pair of pliers, a balpene hammer, and some jumper cables.

And I'm of the opinion that death enveloping the universe is just a liiiiiittle more extreme than a kick in the nards.

It is evident that Schik, the undercover DROD Mafia boss, who is coincidentally (or maybe not) the controller of this forum will be the one to do the serious whacking or torturing of anyone considered by Schik to be worthy of such punishment.

This post is very :offtopic, but I think it should be said that in this light, we must all be very afraid of Schik...

Nope. Not true. We have strength in numbers. No one can deal out punishment, really, unless its just to one or two guys, because this forum is a pretty small place and there's too great a chance the guy won't want to come back.

Even though he has absolute power over us on the forum, we can easily pull out our rayguns. :P

Somehow, this has turned into another "the Mafia are going to kill anyone who learns too much" thread.
Not that I'm complaining, but can we make this the "'Neather-related plot discussion" thread instead?
