Interesting. Well done, Clayton!
Personally, I felt Clayton could have done with more landmass closer together, but then it's his map and however he wants to do it is fine.
I'll admit that my map was thrown together in Paint (except for some fiddling - the ice ring was done in Gimp, which actually decided to work with me), but the ideas were important, I felt. And then I saw Clayton's map, and I think I speak for us all when I say 'dayum'.
Mine was oriented the other way to everyone elses mostly because I liked that look better from an aesthetic point of view. It certainly could have done with some more detail - quite frankly, I ran out of time. On the other hand, it gives people plenty of places to put themselves, so that's all good.
As for the others... well, Red's was a bit screwy, with Sun Island on the wrong end, Oneiromancer's was pretty good (although I liked mine better) and Clayton's I though had too many islands and not enough continents, but that's just personal preference. Not sour grapes. Promise.
Well done, Clayton! Enjoy your cap!
Matt
