Okay, the lack of hints for this room already tells me that I must be missing something simple. I can manage to get into this arrangement:

 SS

The right slayer has his hook facing north, and the whole shebang is pressed right up against the SW corner, I can kill one but then I die, help?

Hmm... I'm making progress, but still no slaying of slayers.

Is it possible to have a partial demo showing the position to get in, and only that? I can probably figure it out from there.

Hmm, well, it's a start...
I've been learning a lot about Slayers' weakness from this hold, but this demo you've given here... it's hardly "too far" - in fact, it's not far enough! I get to this point and simply cannot get any further. They always move where I don't want them - I can't even kill one of them!

OK, small update - with the positions shown in this demo in mind, I somehow managed to manoeuvre the two Slayers into the lower-left corner... and here I fail.
I kill one Slayer, the other slays me!
I hereby name this room unsolvable.
