Two somewhat related requests.
In the editor, there's no way to determine movement order, other than pressing F5. What makes this particularly irritating is the presence of invisible characters: if a character's invisible, you can't hit F5 and right-click them to determine their movement order, which means that there's no way at all to determine it. Once you have scripting interaction ("
I need invisible character A to execute its script before invisible character B executes its script"
), you've got a nightmare on your hands.
[Compare, by the way,
Syntax's request for an in-game display of everything's movement order.]
Also, in the editor, there's no way to determine coordinates, other than pressing F5. That's somewhat irritating; it means that if I tell a character "
Wait until Beethro is at [coords]"
, and then I think, "
Hey, I should mark that square with a different colored light/floor/whatever"
, there's no good way to really easily tell which square that coordinate is. Sure, you can hit F5, right-click, escape, and remember where you right-clicked, or you can do a lot of squinting and counting, but there really ought to be a better way.
[Compare, in this case,
eytanz's request to see characters in the editor with their in-game appearance. It's not actually all that relevant, but that request really oughtn't be forgotten.]
