Two somewhat related requests.

In the editor, there's no way to determine movement order, other than pressing F5. What makes this particularly irritating is the presence of invisible characters: if a character's invisible, you can't hit F5 and right-click them to determine their movement order, which means that there's no way at all to determine it. Once you have scripting interaction ("I need invisible character A to execute its script before invisible character B executes its script"), you've got a nightmare on your hands.

[Compare, by the way, Syntax's request for an in-game display of everything's movement order.]

Also, in the editor, there's no way to determine coordinates, other than pressing F5. That's somewhat irritating; it means that if I tell a character "Wait until Beethro is at [coords]", and then I think, "Hey, I should mark that square with a different colored light/floor/whatever", there's no good way to really easily tell which square that coordinate is. Sure, you can hit F5, right-click, escape, and remember where you right-clicked, or you can do a lot of squinting and counting, but there really ought to be a better way.

[Compare, in this case, eytanz's request to see characters in the editor with their in-game appearance. It's not actually all that relevant, but that request really oughtn't be forgotten.]

I think you can see the coordinates of a square in the editor either by Ctrl-clicking or by holding the cursor for a while on that square.

Oh, huh. Hovering doesn't work--only when you're choosing coordinates for scripting. Control-right-click does work, the second time you do it on a square, but the first time it performs the usual act of right-clicking, i.e. erasing what's there. (That might be a bug? If that's intended, then, well, right back to a feature request.)

Thanks for pointing this out to me!

Uh... he said control-click, not control-right-click.

So he did; I'm so accustomed to right-clicking to get coordinates. Of course, control-click does the same thing: it gives you coordinates the second time, after placing an element.

I'll help out for Mike Rimer to fix that.

(Sorry, got an idea from the ambiguous, fixed, "I'll" in place of "It'll" in a thread you linked. I mean it'll help out, but I wanted to make you stop and think.)
