My dear zwetschenwasser,
If you find that you don't have enough mod points to hand out when someone correctly guesses a puzzle, you can always make a friendly plea to one of our revered moderators (in the post itself) to assist you in awarding anyone (e.g., Lamkin, in this case) rank points in order to get him or her to a +2, or +3, etc.
(It has always worked for me.)
