Finished editing and mastering voice recordings and embedded it into the official hold this morning.

We're going back to polish up some very specific aspects of the game. I'm not going to advance the bar while we're working on stuff I previously assumed to be done.

This week I'm working on getting CDs printed for TCB, and also reprints for KDD and JtRH.

Do you mean "Someone found a way to kill the Slayer again..." type things, or more general areas like the tileset?

Nah, nothing bad. We're adding some extra rooms, content and dialogue to make things even cooler.

And I remembered I need to print off the new SmS CDs too. I'm being kept busy, but it's a lot of good stuff happening.

Matt has made more progress on the forum and CaravelNet end of things for DROD RPG. Also, Eytan has made some cool, new content for the official hold to round out the story. We have some new dialogue left to record this week, but a lot of work has been done, and it certainly feels like 25% of all that remains to be done...so that's why I bumped the bar up a quarter of the remaining two percent.

This game has been at least two years in the making, and it would be nice to just release it now. But we think the game deserves a bit of extra polish, and we're willing to apply some extra effort to make it that much better. In the words of Blizzard (even if this is apocryphal), "It's done when it's done."

You should be more grateful, punk. Back in my day we didn't HAVE a fancy-schmancy bar to tell us when our game developers made minor progress towards releasing new games. We just had to wait and hope. AND WE LIKED IT FINE THAT WAY.

Sorry for the small increments, guys. Yes, we have been waiting for extra recorded dialogue to come back from four actors in order to make RC2 for the official hold. One of these actors has delivered so far, so I've added his lines to the game. We're concurrently doing some editor testing and have fixed five straightforward room editing bugs this week (one of them was actually also in the TCB editor and just reported on the main Bugs board). There has also been some more progress by Schik on the CaravelNet end of things. There are a few loose ends for him to work out, but almost everything is in place. (Send him a PM to congratulate him on helping to get all the CaravelNet goodness set up on time for the DROD RPG release if you like.)

98.75 %... but, yah, whatever on the small increments. didn't the last couple releases jump a few % points to go right to 100%, anyway? at least this way we're seeing some of that last couple percent instead of just waiting for april 1st
