It is indeed from an episode of Duck Dodgers. One of those old cartoons that's always stood up to the present. When I watch it now, I laugh at the fact that it stars Daffy Duck and Porky Pig AS Duck Dodgers and the plucky Cadet.

For some reason the Looney Tunes episode where Bugs Bunny does professional wrestling (against The Crusher I think) never fails to make me laugh hysterically. That one, and the Duck Amuck ones where the artist keeps erasing stuff in front of Daffy Duck (and then one where he gets his revenge on Bugs but I think the tables still get turned on him, I can't remember).

I think Duck Amok was the inspiration for one of Don Hertzfeldt's animations, called "Genre" There's this cartoon bunny that keeps being forced in to different acting styles by the artist. At one point the artist points a gun at the character to get him to act. It's pretty funny. Also funny is the fact that in the text field all the lines end at the same character spot. Totally unplanned.
