You mention glxinfo, so I assume you are using X.
If you start x as follows:

It will give ALL SORTS OF LOVELY STUFF in /var/log/Xorg.0.log
Mine gives about 1,080 lines of hardware information (!)
As for the video card, even removing all the stuff relating to the monitor, I still get:
