I've had this #1 for far too long now, epsecially considering how far from perfect it is.

First one to upload a demo beating mine (which is 253 moves, for reference) to CaravelNet gets a +3 .

Yes, that does it. Although that is pretty weird - your demo on CaravelNet is the same one as you attached (and is actually 247 moves), but CaravelNet thinks its 258.

Perhaps this should be reported on the site board...

Don't worry, that's a known problem. The spider erroneously counts mimic/decoy placement moves in demos made with the 2.0 engine (which Noah is using).
