Why is it that nobody seems to have trouble with such a devious room but me ....

Anyway:



I have tried several variations of this , and then some more, but the snake timing is not so good. I managed to reach only a single guard but still he killed me in the end.

Is there some other way to do this rather than infinite trial and error ? If not possible to give a hint, I am ready to surrender and would be happy to see a demo ...

Infinite trial and error is pretty much the theme for this hold. Here's how I started things:

Thanks Remlin got it now with you generous help. What I missed, by always restoring to the first 'X' in the entrance, was that you could control snake timing by waiting a few turns just at the rooms start ....
