I'm back. I wish someone else were asking these questions. I've made it through the first two corridors but I can't make it up the ortho square corridor. Any suggestions?

I think you've attached the wrong image so I'll presume you mean 1N. Not sure if that can be fixed without an admin's help...

All I can say about that section is that it requires just the right sort of formation of mud babies. However, bear in mind that

You are correct that I attached the wrong image - sorry. I guess I'll keep at it for a while.

The formation which worked for me was
B = baby
_ = space

The odd thing here is that certain formations which look unlikely actually work better. I did play around for quite a while before finding a winning structure which was efficient enough.

Let me know if you're still stuck and I can give you a move count of when that section got opened for me. It should sync with whatever your move counts because of the brain but you might need to review the efficiency of the first section as I was optimising it as much as I could.

What a great room though...

Good room - yes.

I seem to have trouble getting by the double babies and can't seem to create string without a triple grouping.

This is, hands-down, the hardest part of the hardest room in the entire hold. I won't be able to offer definitive assistance until next week, but the idea is that you just need to keep trying different configurations until one works. The advantage is that the configuration is periodic and repeating, so you will eventually be able to hit all the possibilities.

Sorry, you might be right, it's pretty hard to tell actually, but you probably need the roaches to get down in an other formation. I could try to get through the room again, or send another image. But I guess you should keep trying to get the roaches right around the tunnel.

×You don't need a squares interval between the first two roaches to get down to the pressure plate.

Finally got it... attached is a partial demo. Syntax was right.
