Given that few seem to know whether this is already possible, and also given I can't find any hint of it in the documentation or the source code, I'm just going to request it now.

Could we please have an escape character (like \n or similar) that can be added to text variables to create a newline, so that they can be then used in level entrances and scrolls and the like? It should be a fairly painless feature to add and expands the uses we can put text variables to, especially given that we can use them in level entrances and even the ending (multiple endings, anyone?). The difference being that right now, the only way to have newlines (and thus seperate out paragraphs) is to have them in the scroll or level entrance themselves, which can be kind of a pain, especially when the multiple messages you want to switch between have different numbers of paragraphs.

I've added this to 3.1. Use "$\n$ to go to the new line in a text.
