I find this confusing - do you mean that it was not a film role but a TV role, or that it was neither film nor TV?

2. Rush played a soap opera producer in Intolerable Cruelty.

3. Although the Marquis de Sade was certainly eccentric, or at least licentious, I don't think he'd be described as crazy.

However, I am awarding a point as I think the characters are close enough.
