Hi

Whenever I'm falling in love with a game that delivers true "progression experience", I dream of being able to save my game at home and continue at that very point next day in the office.
So, why not expand CaravelNet for those who are paying for this service, so that the save games of several computers being associated with the same CaravelNet key are being synchronized by the CaravelNet server?
That way you could save your game in the evening at home and could continue your journey next morning in the office, then save it at the end of workday, continue at that point at home, ...

Still dreaming ...
Stefan

I have to say, that's the longest row of consecutive good feature requests by the same user I've seen. You're good :thumbsup !

Thanks for the praise! I have been in computer gaming for more than twenty years now, still hoping for the perfect game to be made. Maybe, Erik and his team can manage to do it ...
And still have many ideas in my mind that have developed over the last two decades ...

Stefan

At the very least, it would be nice to be able to export saves from a single hold instead of having to export the whole shebang. Importing takes me well over an hour, even assuming I find some way to send those massive files around.

You can do this in 3.0.

You can always do what someone suggested at one point, and get some USB storage of some sort on which you store your .dat files. Then, modify the .ini on each install to look for the .dats on this external storage, and just take it with you when you want to play on the other computer.

Oh wait, sorry. I re-read your suggestion - you can upload the scores from one hold in 3.0, but not export them to a file. That said, some of the bug fixes in 3.0.2 (and 2.0.16) should make exporting and importing much faster.
