The lesser Aumtlich is the younger brethren of the Aumtlich, and as such, are far less intelligent and effective. Like the Aumtlich, they too emit a paralytic beam, albeit blue. But unlike the Aumtlich, it will stun anything it comes across, be it friend or foe, or even another Aumtlich. Also distinctive about the lesser Aumtlich is that it's gaze only reaches 5 squares across. To be consistent with the effect mirrors and the reflection off beethro's sword, any Aumtlich trapped in the beam of a Lesser Aumtlich would be unable to turn.

Puzzle Potential
-Have a puzzle where you have to use the Lesser Aumtlich to hold back monsters, such as snakes, roach queens or goblins.
-Allows more flexible rooms with greater amounts of Aumtlich, yet still using their unique characteristics.
-Daisy Chains!

I normally disapprove of spelling corrections but I'll make an exception for DROD elements: Aum*t*lich

As for the feature itself - I'm neutral towards it. It seems like a decent idea, just not terribly compelling.

Actually, I think it'd be funny if these guys were the aumlich. Because then you could have a mock of the original aumtlich scene introducing them officially.
