When you're on the juice (2x speed potion) its hard to tell when you've been in the LOS of an eye or standing on a hot square for a full turn or just a half turn. I'd like there to be some sort of visual information about this. Perhaps the hot plate could glow a little bit on the half turn before it vaporizes you, and the eye's LOS line could appear green instead of red or something like that.

Also, when you're frozen by an aumtlich, it would be nice to know how many more turns you have until you can move, or perhaps some sort of visual indicator to show when you're frozen and when you're not. Maybe an ice cube encases you and melts over the next couple of turns or something along those lines.

uh. freezing by an autmlich doesn't wear off, you have to interpose your sword?

Well that explains a lot! Still it would be nice to have a visual clue that you are frozen/not frozen.

All I know is that in the first couple of rooms with aumtlichs, I haven't been able to figure out when I'm frozen and when I'm not. Maybe I'm missing something, but I swear there are times when I've had a beem on me and still been able to move. I'll go back and check.

Edit: Specifically, when you're playing as the goblin. Looking back, though I don't see why I was confused.

Your sword blocks the beam and allows you to move. If your sword is perpendicular to the beam, it reflects the beam back just like a mirror does.
