When Beethro steps off of oremites, his sword faces the direction he stepped. Intentional? I have to assume yes, but it feels weird to be able to do a 180.

That's definitely intentional. :)

Edit: You'll understand later in the game.

In fact, when you change direction when walking around without a sword, you do a 180, so that's, technically speaking, flawlessly consistent.

But, er, what I really wanted to say was, perhaps it's a little soon to be reporting facts about gameplay as bugs. I think it's safe to assume that, if that were unintentional, the development staff would have caught that long before now. There may be bugs in there somewhere, but probably nothing nearly so fundamental.

Speaking as someone who isn't going to get to see it for about 8 hours, I think that all gameplay mechanics should be reported as bugs.

BUG: When Beethro eats the super marshmallow, he turns into Wubblade!

I can imagine certain puzzles relying on being able to do a 2-move 180. So let's give this move a name right now: The pirouette

No, not in the demo, but definitely later in the hold. And trust me, we had many "discussions" about how this feature should work when stepping on and off oremites. I think it used to be that just having your sword over them, instead of being on them, made you lose it...but that was even weirder.

Game on,
