I just registered and my rank is a roachling, but I've beated DROD. - Shouldn't I be a Legendary Smitemaster?

Your ranking on the forum is just that - your ranking on the forum - it has nothing to do with your DROD accomplishments. You move up through the ranks on the forum by making posts. You are a roachling because you've only made one post.

Also, Legendary Smitemasters are the forum administrators - that's not a level you can get to by posting.

Correction: Legendary Smitemaster is a level you can't get to just by posting. I certainly hadn't made any sweeping changes to DROD when I got here, and I probably still haven't.

Matt, what about the "Hall of Legendary Smitemasters"? Are they all administrators or something similar?

No, these are all the people that have beat DROD and emailed in to get their name on the list. If you want to know how to get on, go to drod.net, then fun stuff, then Hall of Legendary Smitemasters, and it has all the info on that page.
