I have come to the inescapable conclusion that there is no joy to be had in heading down towards the goblin.
The only viable path is to move east each turn until you kill the brain.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to stay alive after that. I have too many eyes chasing me, and too many above me, and not being able to turn my sword is a definite cramp to the style.
What am I looking for? Umm...well, perhaps a tip as to how many wakened eyes I should have behind and above me when I hit the brain?
Something like that, anyway.
[EDIT: Nevermind, got this one too. Now I just need to deal with the blue door room and I can go on to the next level!]
