Isn't it possible to make the server generate those images on the fly if they're missing? Always bumping them by hand can't really be the solution to this problem...

Yeah, that's one of those things I want to do but haven't gotten around to. All I do when someone says images are broken for a hold is mark the hold as needing images. From there, it's all automatic. So it's not like I go and take screenshots and save them off and ftp them to the server or something. I'm basically missing one step - when someone looks for a room image and it doesn't exist, automatically mark the hold as needing images.

I don't think it's the #1 recurring maintenance I do. Maybe the one that's most visible, as I'm only doing it after someone mentions it. Anyways.... tired of getting poked, I made it automagic. Now, if you try to view a room or level image that doesn't exist, it will automatically queue it for generation.

Could you use the Drod Room -> Text File program, or something similar, to submit the room layouts to CaravelNet, and have something generate images from it?
