Partly a matter of convenience, as I couldn't find a screenshot that wasn't instantly obvious, and partly because if you could make out any of the main characters you'd know what it was instantly.

I've got the DVD here, though, so I'll try and get another screenshot tonight.

Ugh, the things I've watched thanks to my sister. The whole 'sociopath for a boss' and 'you become who you associate with' cliche's really got to me with that movie, and that's only getting started...

Ignoring the cliche's, the film did have its moments.

See, what I found interesting about it was that it started off with the cliche, then started peeling back the layers and asking, 'how did they become this way'. It could have coasted at the level of 'ha ha look at the silly shallow people' but it didn't.

Instead it made you pity them. Which still invokes the self righteous superiority that most american movies aim for these days, that despite your perceived lower standing in the world, those higher up aren't any better. So really I walked out carrying the same groan that I carry out of every chick flick, sit com and romantic comedy these days (although I'm starting to have trouble identifying which is which).

Well, I recognized the actress right off as Laurence Olivier's widow, Joan Plowright (who has not been on Harry Potter). That has to be The Spiderwick Chronicles.
