I was pretty sure you wouldn't be insulted, but I had to say something. But about your last sentence there...I have to disagree, interwoven lyrics can be as much a part of music as the instruments. Take, for example, Simon and Garfunkel or the Indigo Girls. If you were just being tongue in cheek my fault for not getting it.
BTW, the Springsteen one has the same title as a Dire Straits one, but I'll leave it to DiMono.
I like the Dire Straits one better I think (although since they are two very different songs except for the title this doesn't mean much), but it isn't as well known as the Bruce one. Go ahead and guess it if you want, DiMono probably won't check for a while since he thinks he got it right.
