There are some boards that are only available to admins. Maybe there are others also?

I think the extra boards are from the special CaravelNet hold boards, one per hold in beta testing by request...

I don't have CaravelNet, so this be a guesseth.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few beta boards around currently - sure, a lot of people can't see them, but I guess the counter doesn't care...

Also, I'd hazard a guess that there's at least one internal board for the powers that be...

Well, I think there's actually been more than that...there's been at least a hundred boards created, although some of them are unused now.

Right now, I can see.... thirty-six boards, and I could see there being at least 68 active boards.

There are at about 20 boards that contain the content of drod.caravelnet.com (the whole sit runs off the board using some sort of internet magic that I don't understand). As mentioned, there are also the beta boards. There are also a few development boards - they tend to accumulate as there are new ones for each project (say, JtRH had 3 - one for the programming, one for the hold design, and one for the beta). Official development boards, including the beta boards for all SmS holds, get archived rather than deleted and are still around.

So yeah, there's quite a few boards in addition to those immediately visible.
