I've just played my copy of that game and I'm sure that screenshot is not in those two games.

It could be Platinum (but that's not out yet). But it's definitely not Diamond/Pearl.

I'm not planning to get a DS, but that screen does seem oddly familiar.

At least one other person thinks it's from Diamond or Pearl (they share the screens on that site) - GameFaqs also has that same screen under both Diamond and Pearl.

No, it couldn't, check the Platinum screenshots on Serebii.net,and you'll see that the clothing doesn't match. therefor, it has to be Diamond/Pearl.

By the way, that's not a way to prove something.

To be honest, I know what the screenshot was (even before posting the other post). It was a pre-relase screenshot of Diamond/Pearl. Unfortunately, most of it has been changed.

Attached is the exact location in Diamond/Pearl (taken from YouTube). Spot the (many) differences.

Well, I looked at the protagonist and the 3D buildings and concluded that it was from D/P. I don't know though.
