Damn, I should've Googled that to make sure that "Dr Bob's Hideout" wasn't a giveaway.

I was actually hoping that someone would've played it. It's not entirely unlike DROD, except it's real-time. And you have a raygun. Kept me busy for months, anyway.

I used to play ZZT a lot, and even made a few worlds for it. It had powerful scripts, which were fun to experiment with, but the battles were a bit too random and simplistic.

I played a few ZZT scenarios. The scripting was cool. I also like the older KROZ series and have played through all seven of them. Close enough. It's actually Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil.

I'm playing through it at the moment. It doesn't play like 'real' Doom, but it's still not that bad in the end.

I wonder - am I the only one that found the DOOM movie to be a lot better than DOOM 3?

On my scale, Resident Evil (movie) > Doom 3 (game) > Doom (movie)
Those two movies had a lot in common. RE (only seen the first one) just did it much better. The 1st person part in Doom felt like a gimmick (it was shown in trailers, but wasn't really that important), and it was more boring overall. But that's getting more and more off topic.

It seems like there's not enough UI to be the Baldur's Gate games...i.e. no circles under the monsters. And it doesn't look like the original Dungeon Siege...but maybe it's Dungeon Siege 2?
