I loved how many different types of games Space Rangers encompasses. Overall, it’s an space sim from the top down perspective. It is a trading sim between outposts. It has grand strategy on protecting the galaxy. It has RTS ground combat. Arcade-like worm holes. It even has text adventures inside!


Anyways, here is a shot from a fun game I remember from a while ago. Sorry the picture is so small….

Oooh, that game rocked so much back in the time. There were scripted events and everything... like you wounded the goblin enough, and it would run to the wall, open a secret stash, get a healing root from there and eat it. I was so impressed by it back then. And look at the roleplaying games today, none of them has this level of dedication.

That's because it kinda is...

Fun game where instead of a civilization or such been there, done that stuff you play as an asteroid, a sun, a solar system or a black hole doing missions for an ominous entity that rules that edge of the galaxy...
