Hi!

I was just wondering what some of the favorite Pixar movies are across the forum. I like them all. But I think Toy Story 2 is more interesting than the first, character-wise. I also think Monsters, Inc. has pretty goofy characters, and Finding Nemo is funny, partly because of Dory's mistakes .

Oooh... Difficult question to answer - it's been a long time since I last saw Toy Story or Bug's Life; not so long since the last time I saw Toy Story 2, and I saw Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc both recently. So it's difficult for me to compare; but I think overall either Toy Story 1 or Finding Nemo wins. I think I preferred Toy Story 1 to 2, actually - the second one is better in many respects, but the simpler plot of Toy Story 1 actually appeals to me more; and Finding Nemo was a huge lot of fun. But I love all of them.

I'm into writing ray tracers and other computer graphic tools, so looking for the cool tricks in the movies interests me. "Finding Nemo" has by far the most advanced models and graphical effects. I loved it.

Well, I've never heard of Finding Nemo - is it out in the UK? Or is it an older film? Anyway, while I liked all of the rest, I think Monsters Inc wins narrowly because it has one of the best chase scenes of any film I've seen...
