I really am trapped in the woods!

If I go back to the room south I am stopped by red gates and I cannot get to the trapdoors. If I go back east I am stuck on an arrow path because the blue gates did not drop.

I have tried to find hidden rooms but have not found any.

There actually aren't any secret rooms (yet)
In 1N 1E, there is a path between the red doors. Go up the path. It will lead you to
2N 1E. Beat it and drop the green door and go on to 2N 2E. Then in 1N 2E, beat the eys and go back into 1N 1E Drop the trapdoors in the are then you can blow up the seeps and folow the green path and then connects with the blue path! Try it! :)

The infamous stair bug has struck again.

The stairs that should lead deeper into the woods instead lead to the start of the first level.

Just played through it start-to-finish, and the whole thing looks good to me this time around. No unsolvables, no trouble working out where to go next, just a nice, straightforward hold-o-seeps-n-spiders.
