I am having some mega-trouble with the second chamber. I can't reach a roach if they go all the way to the left, or all the way to the right, and I can only push in each direction once. The second time I do a push I usually can't go kill the roaches and get out anyway. I can't go up first, so I have to go left, which makes *at least* some of the roaches on the top row go right. I can't seem to kill enough roaches on the top two rows before pushing the leftmost roaches to the right to make it so that when I push them back left, I can go up and kill all of them. The closest I've gotten is having one less roach on the top row than the number of trap doors, and thus I can't go up without one running into the dead end.

What's the trick?

×Anyways, the general idea (maybe not the most efficient) is to do 2 sweeps.

×First, follow the left hand wall, before heading straight up and killing 3 of the queens (the rest being mostly in the dead end)

×Then go back on yourself to the right and down... as far right as possible. This will push the remaining queens into (the still walkable exit along the top of the chamber)

I have a sneaking suspicion that I have to move just right in the beginning of the chamber so that the move order works for me, instead of against me.

I don't understand your descriptions or directions at all. Vertical door? Horizontal door? Are you talking about the first chamber of this room, or some other part of it?

I don't understand your descriptions or directions at all. Vertical door? Horizontal door? Are you talking about the first chamber of this room, or some other part of it?

It means the second chamber. Here's the same thing if it's hard to understand which door each of those means.

Begin at "1" in This picture with your sword pointing northwest, and follow the numbers without turning your sword.

Well, McFrugal asked about the second chamber, which has 3 doors (a vertical one, a horizontal one and a 1-tile sized one), so guess which one I meant...

Man, I feel kinda dumb for not noticing that path. However, once I got past that chamber, the rest of the room was relatively easy.

This has got to be one of the most clever holds I've seen. Every room so far has been very original.

I've tried everything I can think of here and still get myself stuck. (No way out of the first chamber.) Can someone let me know the preferred route?

Hahahahahaha! {Wipes eyes} I figured I'd record a demo to show how I was failing - for critiquing by others, preferred to plagiarism - when I accidentally completed the first and second areas. Now I can't say what I did before, so it's just as well that nobody cares.

The part I like is how the first chamber is the hardest one in that /entire room/. I got the rest, like, first try.

Ok. I end up with a roach stuck at 1:

The cause is 5 queens down there.

I know if there is only 4 then I can solve it, but how do I do that?

5 queens is okay, as long as you can kill one of them without creating another unswordable tile. Then you can push the rest to the left and kill them.
