Questions:
1. What if Beethro is holding it at a distance, and he steps towards the creature, so his sword is on it? This characteristic is not shared by any monster (snakes can not be held back by the sword)
2. Do you define "
objects"
as anything in the game?
Thoughts:
I don't really like this monster for a couple of reasons.
1. The sword is either useless (snakes) or a killing machine (everything but snakes). Your idea would combine them, by making it not step on the sword, but be invincible to it.
2. It provides very few puzzles. Large groups of monsters/things would always be needed.
Suggestions:
1. What if it only had to be next to one object for it to be killed?
2. Make it one or the other, vulnerability-wise.
Apparently, 2 is now my favorite number
