icon Beta holds not linked to player ID (+1)
Current setup: 1 Drod instance, 2 players, 2 CaravelNet accounts

I signed up as beta tester for a hold, and this appears in my hold list with (BETA) following the name. I presume this is the correct behaviour.

However, when VodkaAndCoke switches to her account, that hold appears in her list too. I don't believe this should be the case?

This seems to indicate DROD is tying the holds to the instance, rather than individual players which would correlate with the "secrets completed" %age being the same for both of us, regardless of who conquered/mastered the hold (this bug was raised previously).

I don't believe it's a trivial change however (unless actualy hold data is duplciated across accounts) and possibly not all that far-reaching, but would be nice to see in the 3.0 engine perhaps?

Hmmm... yeah, the hold should be downloadable in-game by only you, and not her. But once imported into DROD, holds are available for play by anyone who has access to that installation of DROD.

The hold should not come up as BETA for VodkaAndCoke, and if she plays it, it shouldn't upload demos, nor should she be able to download demos for it.

I don't think this is really worth worrying about changing for 3.0.

Ok fair enough.

It does however come up as BETA for VodkaAnd Coke too.
Though the demo thing is fine.

Hey Syntax,

Does it show up as BETA if you restart DROD, and you select VodkaAndCoke's profile immediately?

Which hold are you talking about? I'm not seeing this problem in your dats.

Yes, VodkaAndCoke started DROD and selected her profile from the off.

The hold in question was King Pilchard VIII's Dungeon. I don't think the .dats I sent had this hold in them yet.

Well, in this case, this sounds like the correct behavior because King Pilchard VIII's Dungeon was published on the Holds board the day before yesterday, so it should have shown up for all CaravelNet users in addition to beta testers.

Yeah, since it was published, I would have expected it to appear.
The issue is that I signed up as a beta tester a while back (6 weeks?), and downloaded the beat hold in-game. From then onwards, VodkaAndCoke could also see it (with "(BETA)" following the name of the hold).
