As the tour expedition delved deep into the dungeon, the Architects were busy explaining almost everything they had discovered. Apparently this was the one time when that oath seemed not to apply. And yet, as you spent your days in the beneath, something seemed wrong. A strage presence grappeled you, something beyond the regular feelings you could expect when beneath the ground. Suddenly, your worst fears were made real, roachs, wraithwings, and more sinister things jumping out at you from wherever they could. Anyone who could defend his/herself did, while the rest cowered in hopes of salvation. As the brave smitemasters and smiters and regular guys with swords fought, the monsters seemed to be dwindling. But still, they managed to get at a feast, until evetually a small group was left, and the monster horde was no more. However, all was not calm, as it quickly became evident that some monsters remained, hidden among the people of the surface.



The night has not yet ended. PMs relating to the night are now being sent out.

First off, if you didn't receive a PM, nothing eventful happened that night. Assume your role worked as intended.



As dawn broke, (or as much as dawn can break in an artificial underground construct), a quick headcount showed that nothing was wrong. 16 people were accounted for. How could this be? No kills? Something very odd was going on.

There was an eerie silence as the rest of the group woke up. Everyone but The Stew Boy was awake. As Ezlo bent down to wake him up and tell him the good news, his eyes suddenly opened up. He started screaming incomprehensible shouts as he bolted from the crowd. Everyone ran after him, trying to stop him and calm him down. But as krammer reached out to stop him, all he managed to grab was a facemask. Everyone saw just one glimpse of that face before it plunged into the Mothingess on the delirious Stew Boy. Everyone recognized that face. It was unmistakable, with only :onei visible. The Stew Boy was One I Romancer, Surface-Aligned Demigod.

Suddenly, Bunches burst out into tears. "I did it! It's my fault! I killed him!" And before anyone could stop her, she ran up to the nearest gate and struck the orb, bringing her high up above the ground. "How could I do it?" were her last words as she plunged down onto the ground, inpacting with a very strange Splat!. Based on the remains, it was evident that Bunches was The Brain, Monster-Aligned Leader.

Ouch, two in one night?

Should we speculate on what the roles are?

I think that there might be someone that can bring people back from the dead. Like two people die in the night, someone else must be able to bring people back, right?

Plus there must be some sort of day role. If we are spending two weeks during the day with no lynch, something has to happen.

Maybe, but its primarily for discussion and forming suspicions.

Anyway, I have added a new rule. If the town wishes to end day quicker today, they merely Vote: End Day. Once majority is reached, Night 2 shall begin. The Day will still end after two weeks regardless.

My......... word. What just happened?

My theroy is that the One I Romancer is a role, that when it dies, the person who killed it commits suicide. That seems to make sense from what little information we have. I'm glad it was Bunches who died, now she'll stop giggling evily whenever something Mafia related is mentioned. :lol I don't think there's much we can do here, so.

Yeah, I'm guessing Bunches had mind-control abilities.

But you know, she was able to kill people by herself, so why didn't anyone else die last night ? There has to be more people able to kill at nighttime, or the rest of us would've won by now. Maybe someone got lucky and managed to protect someone, or there's a "max one death per side per night" rule we don't know about or something.

Anyway:

(btw, is it possible to vote end day even on days where it's possible to lynch someone ?)

I'm still confused as to the end day thing - what do you mean when you say The Day will still end after 2 weeks? Is that only if people don't vote to end the day early?

I have to say, I'm a tidge concerned that my role causes random effects, part of which I believe resulted in Bunches' demise. How are these random events being decided? Would it be best for me not to perform my role to avoid plunging the game into utter chaos?

Wow...I'm confused. So Bunches killed Stew Boy and then killed herself?

OK, well...what do we know?

There are Surface-Aligned and Monster-Aligned players. We don't know the initial composition, but both sides are down one at this point. I think it's safe to assume that the Surface-Aligned players outnumber the Monster-Aligned players.

Why don't we start this way: Everyone who is Monster-Aligned, say "Graaaagggh!"

Who says they have to be? I expect that, as in many mafia games, the general bank of ideas that you draw from will be the same, but what you choose to use and assign to certain monsters/people/inanimate objects can vary.
