Nowadays, it’s common practice to place the DAA seal in a place where the smitemaster can see it. There are several reasons for this, and one of them is pride. It’s a way of saying, “This is a personal identity of mine, but there’s still a proverbial wall there. This dungeon was developed by someone has a name (or more recently, a rank) but I’m hiding behind a larger organization. Hah!” After all, the DAA and the Smitemaster’s Guild have always had an odd sort of relationship that varies incredibly on different levels. Most of the time the purposes of the two organizations are antithetical. Other times... well, we shouldn’t speak of those.
Do you feel as though you need a DAA seal? After all, the Dungeon Architect Association has more or less mandated it. There are other architect associations, but none is as well-funded, or, shall we say, as “well-connected.” Enclosed is the seal, based upon
this room in Deep Hold. I’m aware that the full version of DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold also uses this seal as a trapdoor puzzle
here. At the risk of infringing something or another, I should say that Caravel Games is the near-exclusive owner of the seal. After all, without Caravel (specifically Erik) there wouldn't even be the DAA.
I also made some variations upon the puzzles that you can play in Play mode if you’d like. But for the seal itself, just copy and paste and remove the level entrance. You could also make a picture like the one in
JtRH, Level 1, Secret Room. Not the same one, of course.
