Delta Testing (+2)
I wanted to add something to the architectual community. I'm not actually releasing it. You need to spend several hours a day beta testing it. Then, I was wondering what you thought of the hold. It's going to have a lot of space, and when I release it it's going to be one level.
The above was conglomerated after a session of looking through "introducing my hold" posts in the Architecture Forum.
Before you click on that pretty blue link, I'd like to tell you something about my hold. It has a working title of Good Intetions. In other words, I have no idea what to name it. But that's not what I wanted to tell you. This demo (I'm calling it a demo so that I can feel important) of my hold is a sample of just a few of the puzzle rooms that I copy and pasted, unaltered, into the hold.
There are 10 rooms, 3 of which are secret in the demo and in the actual hold. These secret rooms have secret passages leading to them, but each secret passage is covered with a broken wall. There are 21 rooms total, and 11 of those rooms are required. You might be able to guess that the 11 rooms that are required are the non-puzzle rooms. These rooms mainly serve as transfer rooms (and some of them, ironically, are puzzles in themselves), but I want to ensure that you at least check out the puzzle rooms before you delve into building mode. The editor is for conquerererererers, and technically all you need to do is visit the non-puzzle rooms. The scripting, if I may bring myself to use street slang, is mad cool.
I'm not starting up a beta testing phase yet. I'm not even done with the hold! There is one level that's 100 rooms and I'm about 10% done with it. (The level isn't mostly open space, so that might take some time.)
And that's it! So I'm just putting this demo out just because.
